This winter transfer market proves to be a period of significant speculation and potential major deals. Numerous prominent footballers find themselves connected to transfers away from their current clubs. We examine some of the key figures who might be changing clubs this month.

This much-admired Dutch midfielder has drawn parallels to Kevin De Bruyne for his style of play. Following impressing at the U19 Euros, he has broken into the AZ side. The 19-year-old is heavily expected to make a major transfer in January.
