Aircraft Spins Wildly into Palm Trees at Frequented Southern California Shoreline
A helicopter flying near a well-attended California coastline suddenly commenced twirling uncontrollably, ultimately losing altitude and smashing into a cluster of palm fronds as onlookers observed.
Footage uploaded online capture the helicopter starting to spin near the beach then falling near the border of the coast, where it ends up lodged among palms and a staircase close to the Pacific Coast highway.
First Aid Update
Emergency responders stated five people were taken to hospital comprising two individuals who were in the helicopter and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” subsequent to the incident on the weekend.
Three persons on the road were hurt. Information on their injuries were not yet released.
The cause of the crash was still under investigation.
